Tribal To The Maxi
Tribal prints belong to Summer. Ok, so there’s not ACTUALLY a rule about that…. and you’ll probabaly find me wearing them in cooler months (the definition in San Francisco 😉 but there’s something about them that REMINDS me of warmer days and carefree ways. If you’ve been hanging around here at Manners and Moxie you probably know I like shapes, patterns, prints and most things geometric. Whatever is interesting to the eye, seems interesting to me.
Another thing rounding my Loves List these days is maxi skirts and dresses. There’s an ease about them that compliments that California cool vibe and living out in San Francisco has renforced my maxi crush. You may have seen this previous post when I was also in a maxi mood. Have you been digging on the maxi trend too?
This dress is a tank style but it was on the cool side when I took these pics in Charleston. Mr. T and I were there in early April, so for light coverage I added this chambray shirt. If you’re new to the tribal trend a black and white color combo may be the way to go. Wearing classic colors in a current style is a great way to ease into the trendy scene. Since I was on vaca my accesories were limited but luckily I had my awesome (grey goes with anything) Erica Anenberg bag! It’s big enough to carry my crap and with multiple straps it trasitions from crossbody to tote in 2 seconds flat!
Layering a few baubles kept the casual vibe in check but a pop of colorful neon with this belt is the final topper. Are your into tribal prints this year? What about maxi’s? I’ll be wearing this fabulous number quite a bit in the coming future. I’m taking Tribal To The Maxi 😉
