Hi Kiddies! YEAHHHH for Friday right?! Otherwise known as bookcase delivery day whoo hoo!! I am currently awaiting their arrival and doing my best to be a blogging/ domestic goddess at the same time. You can see which one is obviously winning but at least I’ve got laundry going. I hope the 4th was good to you all! I was working but no biggie. Due to all my Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/Tumbler/Pinterest friends I saw plenty of firework pictures even if I couldn’t be there myself haha. Good job by the way 😉

Since it’s Friday I thought a going out look for the night might be fun to share. These picture are from the TOKYObay event held at Rare Device a few weeks ago. TOKYObay watches are so awesome! I found more than a few that I’d like to wrap around my wrist! Some of you may remember me mentioning I’d been invited by my girl Angie at – This is what I wore and it’s a great look to sport to all sorts of events: date night, out with friends, upscale work event, cocktail party etc… Another awesome blogger and lady friend Santina was gracious enough to take my pictures that night. Thanks Santina! Go check her out at when you have a sec.  I love these pant SOOOOOO much! They say the devil is in the details and that’s what drew me to these. I hope you can see the leather detail trim around the pockets and waistline and they’re really comfortable. I wanted to keep things simple because of the detailing so I paired it with a fairly basic tee. I added a pop of color in the necklace and shoes and then kept the bag neutral so that everything could marinate together. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any pics with my jacket on. Being that it’s San Francisco you pretty much always need a jacket so I wore my army green cargo jacket. You might not think so but it actually looked really good with it! Another lovely blogger you should check out is Kate at I met Kate that night and she captured a candid shot of Santina taking pictures of me on the street. Kinda funny but also pretty cool! Thanks Kate!

So how do you think I did? What do you like best about this look or what would you change? I know it’s hard to believe but Mr. T and I have some other fun planned this weekend besides bookcases which means I’m off to grab the laundry so I’ll have something cute to wear later haha

PS – I’m heading to Philly this upcoming Wednesday to see old friends and also for a little work. I always love meeting new bloggers so if anyone has any suggestions of bloggers in the area they’d suggest I look up lemme know 🙂
