Piperlime – Get Tracking

Living in San Francisco I can’t seem to get enough coverage in my life! What do I mean by coverage? Well, there are many things I love about this city, but I don’t think the weather will ever be one. Most cities affect what you wear in some form or fashion and SF is no exception. Thankfully, I love pants.

Track pants made their presence known on the fashion scene in a way that’s a little more chic and a little less track. Have you embraced this style too? It’s totally rockable in a sweatpant style or even, if you dare, a normal polyester track pant. With the right pairing any textile will do but for something a little dressier choose a silk or poly blend. Go for a cut on the slim side and be sure to break out your HIGH heels because you’ll need something sexy to balence out this sporty style if you want to keep it fancy.

These Jean-Michel Cazabat Elle pumps from Piperlime will give you all the fancy you want and more! The hardware is so eye catching and as I mentioned in my post here, at 4.5 inches they’re surprisingly, some of the most comfortable heels I’ve ever worn. You can also see them in my post here worn with an urban, street style look but for this occasion cocktail hour was on my mind… or at least SOMEthing with bubbles!

Metallic accessories add some swankiness and the rich berry tones have me dreaming of Fall. Oh wait! It’s always fall in San Francisco. Well, that’s not TOTALLY true… but it kinda is. Track pants are great because they’ll look just as good with a white tee or cozy little sweater too. And if for some reason pumps aren’t your thing (how could they not be?!); grab sandals or some wedge sneakers to keep it sporty. And how cool is this mural? It was one of those happy accidents that happen while exploring. Perhaps one more reason to wear your track pants, ehh?

    2. Love the cranberry color of these pants! They’re perfect for fall (any fall, not just this upcoming one)! And yes, us San Franciscans have mastered “coverage” – we knew exactly!
