It’s not monochromatic, but this outfit definitely resides more minimal, more neutral territory for me. Pairing your wardrobe down to basic neutrals or core capsule items you can mix and match is super on trend. It’s a great look! It’s sophisticated, edgy, modern and can make getting dressed more streamlined, even make you feel more powerful! Any style with those qualities is one I love, so I’m totally on board… except for the whole pairing down your closet to like 30-50 ish pieces. There are just some things in life we must recognize about ourselves. For me, one of those things is never having an ultra-curated, capsule style wardrobe. Much like I know I could never live in one of those “Tiny Houses” – no can do! I’m attracted to too many things. Hell, I have a hard time getting out of Home Depot without becoming all aflutter from possibility. And I need room for possibilities. Minimal style can take up maximum space… if you have enough of it.
