Ladylike Sport

I played Softball with friends in high school for a club team, though admittedly, I was rather mediocre. Luckily, hitting home runs is not a precursor to embracing the sporty style trend! Whether it’s track pants, sneakers, mesh or other phys ed influences, it’s a fun, playful and comfy way to keep your wardrobe up to date. As you see, along with my sporty, baseball inspired tee, I’ve mixed in a healthy dose of menswear and ladylike additions to up my street style game.

If you’re going to add a “borrowed from the boys” influence, then why not actually borrow from the boys? I don’t know how much Mr.T likes me pilfering his closet, but that hasn’t exactly stopped me. This hat and glasses are his, though strategies may be in play to make them more permanent additions to my own wardrobe. I’ll be sure to let you know how that goes 😉

Delicate, layered necklaces are right on trend and I’m loving this arrowhead one from Jami! I find myself throwing it on with almost anything when I want a longer pendant. Minimal, though sexy heels, a structured statement bag and a touch of sparkle give this look the ladylike balance it needs. I finally think I’m really to play ball. Are you?
