White denim. Finding a good pair is almost as hard as shopping for a bikini. Yes, that bad! Once you’ve found a great pair it somehow seems easier to find others. Maybe they all hang out together or something? Initially it’s much like dating where you can find yourself going on “bad denim dates”. Have you been on one of these dates too? Well have faith, good ones do exist if you’re persistent. And once found, endless style possibilities await!
The last time I wore these jeans on the blog the look was a little more menswear. This time while strolling the streets of Charleston with Mr. T I chose to go more casual with an edge. A while back white denim made the leap to year round wear and I’m pretty thrilled about it. If you haven’t accepted this yet, don’t fight it; grab a drink and sit down for a “come to style” meeting. You’ll be much happier knowing it’s an “anytime” option
Since white denim is relatively bright on its own pairing it with a darker color will automatically add some edge. Depending on the edge you’re aiming for you can make your look more glam, boho, classic, romantic or whatever strikes your fancy! On this day Mr. T and I were exploring the city so I kept things casual and comfy. The dark tee would have been enough but I added the vest because long vests are awesome! It’s a piece I can’t seem to get enough of lately, much like this bag you may have seen recently here & here.
I kept with neutral shoes, sunglasses and jewelry since I wanted a sleeker look, but as far as I’m concerned, a red nail and pink lip never hurt anyone. What’s your favorite way to wear white denim? If you haven’t had any good denim dates lately that’s alright. Sometimes it just takes a while. Keep looking!
