Hanging Around

I love surprises; especially when you can surprise yourself because it’s a hard thing to do. Recently I fell hard for something I didn’t see coming and we’ve been spending a lot of time together. Almost everyday in fact so I thought it was about time I introduce you to Jane Basch Jewelry.

I’ve had other name necklaces previously but this one combines my newly married initials making it rather special. Nevertheless, I’m going to be honest. I thought I had my mind made up about this little lady when she arrived; nice, but maybe a little too girly and sweet for my taste. I thought I wanted something edgier, stronger with more architectural design. I was dead wrong…

Since then unless I’m wearing a big statement piece you’ll find this beauty draped around my neck. It’s delicate, pretty and stylistically has a strength I didn’t expect. Whether layered or worn alone, I’m thrilled to find it getting along so well with my other wardrobe friends, both old and new.

Recently I was having brunch with friends wanted to take my new bag for a spin. With additional 70’s inspiration from my mom’s vintage shoes we set about our brunch business. Wasn’t my Jane Basch necklace was the perfect accessory for this look?! Grab this design or choose one of your own here. You won’t be surprised but I know you’ll be happy to have someone so stylish hanging around.

    4. […] The print and color of this one, designed exclusively for Stitch Fix, had me at hello. I love a fun print, and this color combo can be worn with just about anything so I choose a retro inspiration for this global glam look. In case you were wondering, wide leg pants are definitely back on the trend train (Yah! Hello Katherine Hepburn!). I took this look for a modern 1940’s style spin with these high waist belted beauties and my bracelet, which actually is 1940’s vintage. For the shoe I find a pop of color fun, but another color or neutral can work too. The open toe keeps it a bit more modern along with this amazing collared necklace from Jane Basch, which adds the perfect edge. She made my Moxie necklace that I wear almost daily along with another of my favorite monogramed pieces that you can see here. […]
