It’s that time of year where you just want to bundle up and hunker down. Actually, I’m exaggerating a wee bit, since it doesn’t get THAT cold in San Francisco. So when traveling to cold weather climates, like the “Land of Eh”, otherwise known as Canada, it’s the perfect opportunity to get comfy cozy!
I’ve realized, in theory, it’s best to pack basic, versatile pieces when traveling. The more you can mix and match the better off you’ll be. Plus strangers won’t stare at you as you struggle to drag your own bag… up the stairs… because there’s no elevator. I may or may not be speaking from multiple experiences. You think I would have learned by now that the bag only gets heavier… NEVER lighter.
On this particular trip we went with the intent of spending time with Mr. T’s mom, my wonderful soon to be mother in law! We had such a nice visit with her and really enjoyed her hospitality. It was great to step back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and relax with family.
You may notice I had some fun rolling around with the baggage cart while we were killing time so obviously I’m not above public shenanigans for the sake of my own personal entertainment. What do you like to wear when traveling for a relaxing winter getaway?
