Captured – SF edition 11.2.13

Since I have an appreciation for photography, travel and capturing life’s moments, wherever you may be, I’ve started carrying my camera almost everywhere. I’m hoping you might enjoy it too so I’m starting a new Manners and Moxie series called Captured where I’ll share photos of whatever I’ve been shooting; whether its traveling, scouting the city, my backyard, or just anything I find interesting. I’m certainly not a professional photographer and I have a ton to learn but it captures my interest, just as the lens captures a subject. I liken it to the same conversation I’ve had with others about running, which usually sounds like this… “Oh, you’re a runner? No. I run”. There’s a distinct difference LOL

Nevertheless, I enjoy it. And like most things, the more you do it the better you become. Though we, as a society, use the word “perfect” quite a bit, I believe it’s actually a very rare quality and should generally describe something mathematical or easily quantitative. Perfection in other things relies so heavily on perspective and each of ours is unique. Personally I find perfection in imperfection, but again, that’s just my take on it…. Looking back through the blog I’ve been taking random location style photos already but didn’t house them under one title. If you like this post then you may enjoy these previous posts here and here. Let me know what you think of this little starter series. If you’re not into it, no problem, just put your lens cap on 😉

XOXO

OK, I have a favorite..the one showing laundry drying. You could actually print and put on a large poster board and hang in on a wall in your home!! Love the colors.
