Captured – NYC Edition 12.9.13
It’s time for the second installment in my photography series Captured! If you missed my first edition on San Francisco you can see it here. I mentioned previously how much I love taking photos wherever I roam. NYC is one of my favorite cities where there’s always something new to explore. Today I’m sharing a few photos taken on a recent trip, though I have plenty more to show. This time I arranged them in sequential order, since it speaks to my journey and overall experience. Photography has the ability to transport, shape and mold us like clay. It can convey a bevy of emotions and present us with a new way of seeing the world. Have you ever noticed that? One of my favorite quotes by Marcel Proust states “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes”. So while I’ll always yearn to travel it’s a good reminder that sometimes we just need a different “lens”.
P.S – The lovey girl in the mask is my cousin. You’ll see more of her in an upcoming post =)
