Captured – NYC Edition 3.18.14
It’s been quite a while since I shared my photographic wanderings. Though I’ve just returned from my bachelorette party in Miami, at least physically, I’d forgotten about these photos from New York. My first Captured – NYC Edition can be seen here and if you’re interested in seeing where the series started take a look here, at Captured – San Francisco. Unlimited tales can be told in a photograph. Not that I’m an expert (I live in Novice-ville ;), but photography touches one of my creative sweet spots. Much like personal style, it paints a picture without uttering a single word. The beautiful girl seen below in the driving cap happens to be one of my bridesmaids and my cousin. She was good enough to let me borrow her as my subject as we roamed around the city. While a photographer tells a story with a lens, imaginations create a photo’s world of existence. Most of the time I like arranging mine in chronological order and that’s what I’ve done here. It’s helpful as I retrace my journey and remember why I thought the moment worth seizing. So take a look at my photographic tale and tell me what you see. Are you Captured?
