Black and Blue

Feeling blue, especially black and blue is normally not a good thing, unless of course you’re talking about style. Pairing navy and black together is super high on my favorites list. It’s chic, sophisticated and classic, but with a little edge. Folks will easily recognize your style skills when wearing this understated, but seriously cool coupling.

So when I found this navy skirt with black leather pockets I knew we had to be friends. Plus I loved the front slit detail! This time I chose to punch up this cool combo with a dose of cobalt blue. It’s a fun color that’s trending for fall, but great for year round wear. If a going neutral is your thing then grey, white, or black tops would look awesome. Though come spring you may see me pairing this skirt with a bright yellow blouse and black leather booties. Just saying…

But this time I kept my shoes and bag neutral and went minimal on jewelry. The cobalt color is so powerful I didn’t want add too much. If polished with an edge is on your work attire wish list then this color combo should be on your menu. But don’t forget casual days; going black and blue will make you happy then too 😉
