Hi Kiddies!
Are you enjoying your Sunday? San Francisco has been showing off today which means folks will get as naked as possible without getting arrested and in this city that pretty much means naked. San Franciscans have a penchant for dressing in costume and then taking said costume off to prance around and show us they probably don’t have a tan. This being a fairly tolerant and liberal city I’d say you have a pretty good chance of getting away with nakedness any time of the year. I however, will be passing on this opportunity heh heh.
Today’s post features something I wore recently for an all day team meeting at work. Normally we’re not allowed to wear jeans to the office but occasionally for offsite meetings and other random occasions they are allowed. Since it’s a rare opportunity, much like today’s weather, I took full advantage of it and ran straight for my red/orange jeans! I love the colored denim trend and I hope it’s here to stay! If you’re not partial to the style of jean seen here or red isn’t your color choose another one you’d prefer but don’t miss the chance to try this trend! I’m fond of these because the hue is an orange red and goes with more than you’d think. Due to the occasion I needed to keep the rest of the look semi professional so I paired them with a button down and a sweater. It’s hard to see the detail but the button down shirt is actually light pink with stripes and the brown sweater lets the pants take center stage without them looking garish in an office environment. Since the pants are the focus I kept the shoes and bag neutral. Warm, colorful pops of jewelry tie the look together! If you can’t normally wear denim in your office then something similar in a colorful fabric will work as a substitute.
The funny pic of the day is a combo because I couldn’t choose between the two. In one I’m apparently exclaiming amazement that I have feet or something. Surprise! In the other I discovered that I’d had my bag turned the wrong way for a number of pictures. I was asking Mr. T “Why didn’t you tell me I had this all screwed up, ahhhhh!”. Per the usual, he was unfazed which happens to be one of his many great qualities hehe.
