Hi Kiddies!
I hope this Monday finds you well… or at least well enough since it IS Monday. Today it’s back to work for most of you so I thought I’d share a post completely unrelated to brighten up your day haha. These pictures were taken about 2 weeks ago after a fun filled morning of being a domestic goddess. What’s that you ask? Lounging around eating chocolate, croissants, drinking wine and engaging in witty repartee? That may have been going on SOMEWHERE but unfortunately for me, only in my head. I was spending quality time vacuuming, scrubbing toilets and taking rugs to be dry cleaned… just like a pack mule. Welcome to my glamours life!
Mr. T and I moved in together a couple months ago and yet I still see boxes on the floor. You never realize how much crap you accumulate until you try to move it. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve picked something out of a box and said “WTF is this and why did I save it?!” … but I digress. Part of the problem is we’re both avid readers (and clothesaholics) but neither of us have been inclined to donate our tomes. Our new flat is amazing with the exception of a few things and one of those being closet space. The closets are teeny tiny since it was built in 1911 so one of my bookcases has been bestowed a new title as Shoe Organizer. This is a VERY important position in a household so in reality my bookcase got an upgrade haha.
After my domestic goddess morning we went furniture shopping. This is also known as “We’re just browsing, thanks”. I was feeling somewhat girly after my drudgery but not quite in the mood for heels. This outfit was a good combination of downtown attitude with ladylike touches. The jeans and sweater are pretty casual on their own but the blouse underneath breaks up the overall color scheme and adds some textural interest. Add some pearls, pink suede shoes and classic handbag to finish off the look!
The last 2 photo’s are the funny pics of the day. I was mid “model pose” as a joke and Mr. T caught it on film. The “hairy” one, as I’m calling it, was taken as we got into the car. It got a bit windy all of the sudden and someone still had the camera in his clutches… Smartass!
xoxo
